The 2007 Honda S2000 is a high-performance two-seat convertible sports car celebrated by enthusiasts for its razor-sharp handling, rear-wheel-drive dynamics, and high-revving engine. Originally launched to mark Honda's 50th anniversary, the 2007 model belongs to the refined AP2 generation of the vehicle, and, unlike standard passenger vehicles, the S2000 was engineered from the ground up as an uncompromising driver's car.

It features a 2.2-liter naturally aspirated inline-4 engine featuring Honda's famous VTEC technology, producing 237 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, and revs up to an 8,000 RPM redline. The S2000 came quipped exclusively with a short-throw 6-speed manual transmission and a mechanical limited-slip differential, and features a near-perfect 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution with a lightweight curb weight of just 2,855 pounds.

The S2000's interior boasts a driver-focused layout featuring a distinct digital instrument cluster, separate driver audio controls, driver-angled center climate controls, leather bucket seats, push-button ignition, and a power-operated vinyl soft top with a glass rear defroster.

The 2007 model was a carryover from the 2006 refresh, meaning it benefited from modern electronic refinements while retaining its analog aspects. Standard features include High-Intensity Discharge (HID) xenon headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, cruise control, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a CD player, along with Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA)—Honda's electronic stability control—which can be manually toggled off for track use.
