The 2013 Porsche Cayenne is a premium, midsize luxury crossover SUV that blends the high-performance handling of a sports car with the everyday versatility and utility of a five-passenger utility vehicle. It belongs to the second generation (958) of the Cayenne lineup, notable for being lighter and more agile than its predecessor while offering an incredibly upscale, driver-focused cockpit.

Positioned in the Porsche lineup between the Cayenne S and the top-tier Cayenne Turbo, the GTS (Gran Turismo Sport) is engineered specifically for drivers who prioritize sports-car-like handling, agility, and aggressive exhaust notes over raw, straight-line turbo power.

The GTS sits 20mm lower than the standard Cayenne S to drop the center of gravity, while Porsche Active Suspension Management regulates damper stiffness in real time to virtually eliminate body roll during aggressive cornering. It also features a sport exhaust system that produces a characteristically loud, aggressive V8 growl via acoustic channels that pipe actual engine intake noises directly into the cabin framework.

The exterior of the GTS distinguishes itself with distinctive large front air intakes, gloss black exterior trim accents, flared wheel arches, a twin-wing profile roof spoiler, and 20- or 21-inch wheels.

Standard interior features include GTS Sport Seats, Exclusive 8-way power-adjustable front sport seats with heavily bolstered sides and 3-position driver memory settings, Alcantara headliner, SportDesign steering wheel, a thick-rimmed steering wheel outfitted with solid alloy paddle shifters for manual gear changes, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power lift gate.
