The 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman S is a sporty, retro-styled compact wagon featuring a turbocharged engine, unique rear "barn doors," and a passenger-side, rear-hinged door for easier rear seat access. Power is delivered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 cylinder, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Clubman sits about 9 inches longer than the standard Mini Cooper, improving rear legroom and overall utility. Inside, the Clubman is known for its signature oversized central speedometer, toggle-switch controls, and extensive customization options. 

The Clubman S is distinct from the base model with a more aggressive front fascia, hood scoop, dual exhaust tips, and sport-tuned suspension. Key features include leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof, Xenon headlights, navigation system, and an upgraded 10-speaker Hi-Fi sound system.
