The 2012 Nissan Rogue SV is a five-passenger compact crossover SUV known for its comfortable ride, car-like handling, and practical cargo versatility. As part of the Rogue's first generation, it shares its vehicle platform with the Nissan Sentra but features an independent multi-link rear suspension to deliver a sportier driving feel.

Notable features for the SV include a back-up camera, 6-way power driver's seat, Bluetooth connectivity, Nissan Intelligent Key keyless ignition, cruise control, power windows and mirrors, an auxiliary input jack, and standard safety features like Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and electronic traction control. The SV trim also features a fold-down front passenger seat, allowing owners to carry long items up to 8.5 feet long inside the cabin.

Power is derived from a 2.5L inline-four cylinder producing 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the front wheels via an Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission.
