The 2009 Nissan Rogue is a practical, compact crossover SUV offering seating for up to five passengers. It shares its platform with the Nissan Sentra and functions as an affordable, fuel-efficient daily commuter featuring styling inspired by the larger Nissan Murano.

Standard features include 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, and a 4-speaker CD stereo with an auxiliary jack, along with anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, and full-length side curtain airbags.

Power is delivered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft. of torque. Power is routed to the front wheels via an Xtronic continuously variable transmission, achieving an EPA-estimated 23 mpg combined (21 city / 26 highway).
