A 2006 Chrysler 300 is a full-size, rear-wheel-drive luxury sedan known for its bold, muscular styling, prominent chrome grille, and mechanical sharing with Mercedes-Benz during the DaimlerChrysler era. Part of the car's first generation built on the LX platform, it combined American presence with German underpinnings like Mercedes-derived suspension components.

It utilized components from the Mercedes-Benz W211 E-Class (floor structure) and W220 S-Class (front suspension and steering), giving the car a much more substantial and solid road feel than typical American sedans of that era.

The 300's lineup was widely celebrated upon launch, earning a spot on Car and Driver's 10Best list and winning Motor Trend's Car of the Year for its striking design and cabin space.

Power is delivered by a 3.5-liter High Output V6 engine pushing 250 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque, and sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission featuring AutoStick manual shift control.
