The 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring is a five-passenger full-size sedan known for its bold, distinctive styling, spacious interior, comfortable highway ride, and traditional rear-wheel-drive architecture. Its distinctive design and impressive combination of comfort, performance, and value helped earn the Chrysler 300 MotorTrend's 2005 Car of the Year award and a place on Car and Driver's 2005 10Best list. Built on Chrysler's LX platform, which incorporated chassis and suspension engineering derived from Mercedes-Benz models, the 300 offered a substantial, refined driving experience. Its long wheelbase, high beltline, prominent chrome grille, and upright body styling give it a commanding road presence.

Power is supplied by a 3.5-liter SOHC 24-valve High-Output V6 engine producing 250 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The transmission features Chrysler's AutoStick manual shift mode, allowing the driver to select gears manually when desired. The 3.5-liter V6 provides a substantial performance increase over the base 2.7-liter engine, offering stronger acceleration and passing power while retaining the smooth operation expected of a full-size sedan.

The Touring trim adds several comfort and convenience features over the base Chrysler 300, including leather-trimmed seating, a power-adjustable driver's seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, remote keyless entry, cruise control, power windows and door locks, and automatic headlamps. This example has also been upgraded with an aftermarket touchscreen multimedia system featuring Bluetooth connectivity and a backup camera, providing additional convenience and functionality beyond its original factory equipment. The cabin features a spacious rear seating area and a 60/40 split-folding rear seatback for additional cargo flexibility.
